ENThe Bougainvillea is a genus of thorny ornamental vines, bushes, and trees belonging to the four o'clock family, Nyctaginaceae. It is native to eastern South America, Brazil, Peru, and southern Argentina.
The species grow tall, scrambling over other plants with their spiky thorns. They are evergreen where rainfall occurs all year, or deciduous if there is a dry season. The leaves are alternate, simple, narrowing to a slender point. The actual flower of the plant is small and generally white, but each cluster of three flowers is surrounded by three or six bracts with the bright colors associated with the plant, including pink, magenta, purple, red, orange, white, or yellow. Bougainvillea is sometimes called a "paper flower" because its bracts are thin and papery.
The Bougainvillea flowering plant is commonly used as an ornamental plant and is prized for its vibrant and colorful bracts.
The blooms of the Bougainvillea plant attract many pollinating insects, such as butterflies, and bees, that are helpful for biodiversity.
The flowers are very easy to care for and thrive well in tropical and subtropical countries such as India. The plant requires less watering and occasional pruning to help in its healthy growth.

Really bad product delivered. With no flowers and many leaves damaged. After raising concern, they arranged for replacement and aome other plant was delivered. Now Agent says, plant is not available and will arrange for return pickup. It has been 3 days without any further updates.. Looks like Urvann is also turning out to be like any other startup, where things are very good in the start and quality comes down later.Nov 24, 2024 6:18:42 AM
